Prepare for a career in one of the following professional fields:

 

  • Automotive Technology

Training includes: maintaining, diagnosing and servicing all consumer-level automobiles. Graduates will have learned the skills necessary to run a computerized automotive information system, four-wheel computerized alignment machine, computerized wheel balancer, articulating arm tire machine, brake lathe, exhaust gas analyzer, computer scanner and much more.

  • Building Technology

Training includes: plumbing, carpentry, millwork, masonry, interior and exterior finishes and roofing for entry-level positions in a number of areas within both the residential construction and remodeling fields.

  • Combination Welding

Training includes: a series of comprehensive courses to provide you with a diverse background in various welding applications and techniques based on ASME and AWS specifications.

  • Commercial & Industrial Maintenance

Training includes: welding, HVAC, hydraulics, programmable logic controllers and preparation for a professional career in electrical, HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding and building maintenance.

  • Commercial Truck Driving

Training includes: information about trucks, truck driving and the trucking industry. In addition, students are taught about the fundamentals of operating trucks and tractor-trailers. Graduates will have the skills to obtain an entry-level position as a driver in over-the-road or local driving vehicles.

  • Electrical Technology

Training includes: wiring, service installation, code interpretation, conduit bending, electric motor theory, analyze/repair machine controls, print reading, programmable controls, electronic controls, telecommunications and the principles of electricity. You will prepare for an entry-level position in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors of electrical technology.

  • Machinist Technology

Training includes: procedures for operating standard machinery, horizontal band saws, milling machines, lathes, hydraulic presses, drill presses, shapers, fixture placing jigs, CNC lathes and mills and pedestal grinders. You will also learn the basic skills of CNC operators, tool programmers and CAD operators.

  • Refrigeration/AC Technology

Training includes: installation and maintenance of oil, gas, propane & electrical heating systems, refrigeration and ventilation & air cooling equipment in the residential, commercial and industrial environments. Students also will be taught sheet metal fabrication, ductwork and gas codes & regulations.
